Welcome to Lincrest Elementary

Thank you for visiting
Lincrest Elementary

Lincrest Elementary School is a K-5, 2012 California Distinguished School located in suburban residential area of Sutter County in the Central Valley approximately 45 miles north of Sacramento.  Our strengths include a campus that abounds with parent volunteers participating in classrooms daily and providing engaging enrichment activities for the entire family (Memorabilia Art Auction, Holiday Baskets, Spaghetti Dinner, Literacy Celebrations, Jog-a-thon, Book Fair, Grandparents'/Special Friends Day, Volunteer Dessert.)  Our volunteers dedicate their time to support school activities, assist in the classroom and generate funding that has provided support for technology, field trips, campus beautification and classroom needs.  The school community considers themselves part of the TEAM which has contributed greatly to the success of each student.
In 2012 our students reached an API of 859 with all subgroups over 800.  A systematic belief that student success is a product of quality instruction in conjunction with meeting emotional, social and health needs encompasses our core values.  The Lincrest TEAM is proud of their achievements in educating the whole child and their progress towards closing the achievement gap.  Even in times of budget reductions, increased class size, and reduction in staff, we have continued to find ways to creatively support student enrichment activities through business partnerships, fundraising, and careful allocation of school funds.  We are proud of our accomplishments and determined to continue to refine the craft of teaching and learning in order to assure that each student continues to progress.
